Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Coconut Milk
- ½ cup Sugar
- ¼ cup Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
- 2 tablespoon Cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon Lemon Zest
- 1 pinch Turmeric for color
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
In a saucepan, combine coconut milk, sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, lemon zest, and turmeric.
Whisk continuously over medium heat until the mixture thickens.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
Pour the custard into bowls and let it cool to room temperature.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
