Ingredients

  • 1 cup Water
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • ½ cup Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Zest grated
  • 2 tablespoon Mint Leaves chopped

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a bowl, combine water and sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
  2. 2. Add lemon juice, lemon zest, and chopped mint leaves. Mix well.
  3. 3. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and place it in the freezer.
  4. 4. After 30 minutes, use a fork to scrape the ice crystals that form around the edges.
  5. 5. Repeat scraping every 30 minutes for about 2 hours, until the entire mixture is fluffy and granular.
  6. 6. Serve immediately or store in the freezer until ready to serve.
