Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Basmati rice
- 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 Juice of one lemon
- 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoon Chopped cilantro for garnish
1. Cook the basmati rice according to package instructions and set aside.
2. In a saucepan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
3. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
4. Add turmeric powder and stir for a few seconds.
5. Add the cooked rice, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well.
6. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve warm.
