Instructions 

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a pot, bring water to a boil.
  3. Add the rice and salt.
  4. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and let it sit, covered, for 5 minutes.
  6. Fluff with a fork before serving.
