Ingredients 

Meatball Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cooked Lentils mashed
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoon Flaxseed Meal mixed with 6 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 cup Marinara Sauce
  • 4 Hoagie Rolls split

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine mashed lentils, breadcrumbs, flaxseed meal mixture, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and soy sauce. Mix well.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes, turning halfway through.
  5. Warm the marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
  6. Place the baked meatballs in the hoagie rolls and top with warm marinara sauce.
  7. Serve immediately.
