Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw cashews, soaked
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons tapioca starch
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions 

  1. Soak cashews in water for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  2. Drain and rinse the cashews.
  3. In a blender, combine cashews, water, tapioca starch, nutritional yeast, apple cider vinegar, salt, and garlic powder. Blend until smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens and becomes stretchy, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Use immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
