Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Textured vegetable protein (TVP)
  • 1 cup Water boiling
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine the TVP and boiling water. Let it sit for 5 minutes to rehydrate.
  2. 2. Add the flour, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the rehydrated TVP. Mix well to combine.
  3. 3. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  4. 4. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  5. 5. Serve the patties on buns with your favorite toppings.
