Ingredients

  • 1 cup mochiko (sweet rice flour)
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • Cornstarch for dusting

Instructions 

  1. Mix mochiko and sugar in a microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Add water and stir until smooth.
  3. Microwave for 2 minutes, stir, then microwave for another 2 minutes.
  4. Dust a surface with cornstarch and transfer the mochi. Let it cool.
  5. Cut into pieces and dust with more cornstarch.
