Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
Add minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
Stir in ground cumin, coriander, cinnamon, and paprika. Cook for 1 minute.
Add diced tomatoes, chickpeas, and vegetable broth. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
Season with salt and black pepper. Stir in chopped cilantro before serving.
