Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 bottle Red wine 750ml
  • 1 cup Orange juice
  • ¼ cup Maple syrup
  • 1 Orange sliced
  • 4 sticks Cinnamon
  • 6 Cloves
  • 2 Star anise

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a saucepan, combine the red wine, orange juice, and maple syrup.
  2. 2. Add the sliced orange, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and star anise.
  3. 3. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it just barely reaches a simmer. Do not let it boil.
  4. 4. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for at least 15 minutes.
  5. 5. Strain the mixture to remove the spices and orange slices.
  6. 6. Serve warm and enjoy!
