Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Mung Beans soaked overnight
  • 4 cups Water
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat the olive oil in a pot over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until golden brown.
  3. 3. Add the turmeric, cumin, and coriander. Stir well.
  4. 4. Add the soaked mung beans and water. Bring to a boil.
  5. 5. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 25-30 minutes, or until the beans are tender.
  6. 6. Add salt to taste. Serve hot.
