Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • ½ cup walnuts
  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ¼ cup nutritional yeast
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a food processor, combine basil, walnuts, garlic, nutritional yeast, and olive oil. Blend until smooth.
  3. In a pan, sauté mushrooms until tender.
  4. Mix cooked pasta, mushrooms, and pesto sauce in a large bowl.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
