Ingredients 

Base

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup vegan butter melted
  • ¼ cup sugar

Filling

  • 1 cup orange juice freshly squeezed
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup cornstarch

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, melted vegan butter, and sugar for the base. Mix until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture into a baking pan and bake for 15 minutes.
  4. While the base is baking, prepare the filling. In another bowl, whisk together the orange juice, sugar, and cornstarch until smooth.
  5. Pour the filling over the baked base and return to the oven for another 15 minutes.
  6. Let the bars cool completely before cutting into squares.
