Instructions
1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
2. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
4. Add the diced tomatoes, cannellini beans, vegetable broth, ditalini pasta, dried oregano, and dried basil. Stir well.
5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
