Ingredients

  • 1 Baguette sliced
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 cups Fresh basil
  • ¼ cup Pine nuts
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon Nutritional yeast
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brush baguette slices with olive oil and bake for 10 minutes or until golden.
  3. In a food processor, blend basil, pine nuts, garlic, lemon juice, nutritional yeast, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Spread pesto on toasted baguette slices.
