Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 large green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 large red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1 package seitan, thinly sliced
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • ½ cup vegan cheese sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onions and cook until translucent.
  3. Add bell peppers and cook until tender.
  4. Add mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture.
  5. Add seitan and cook until heated through.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Toast hoagie rolls.
  8. Fill rolls with the seitan mixture and top with vegan cheese sauce.
