Ingredients

  • 12 large eggs
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon whole black peppercorns
  • 1 bay leaf

Instructions 

  1. 1. Boil the eggs for 10 minutes, then cool and peel them.
  2. 2. In a saucepan, combine vinegar, water, sugar, salt, mustard seeds, peppercorns, and bay leaf. Bring to a boil.
  3. 3. Place peeled eggs in a jar and pour the hot vinegar mixture over them.
  4. 4. Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
