Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups All-purpose flour
  • ½ cup Vegan butter cold and cubed
  • ¼ cup Ice water
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • ½ teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
  2. 2. Add cold, cubed vegan butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. 3. Gradually add ice water, one tablespoon at a time, until the dough comes together.
  4. 4. Form the dough into a ball, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  5. 5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and fit it into a pie pan.
  6. 6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
