  • 4 Portobello mushroom caps
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 4 Burger buns
  • to taste Lettuce, tomato, and other toppings

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. 3. Brush the mixture onto both sides of the portobello mushroom caps.
  4. 4. Place the mushrooms on the grill and cook for about 5 minutes on each side, until tender.
  5. 5. Toast the burger buns on the grill for a minute or two, if desired.
  6. 6. Assemble the burgers with the grilled mushrooms and your favorite toppings.
