Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup red lentils
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 4 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions 

  1. Heat olive oil in the pressure cooker.
  2. Sauté onions, carrots, and garlic until soft.
  3. Add cumin, turmeric, and paprika; cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add lentils, vegetable broth, and diced tomatoes.
  5. Close the lid and cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
  6. Let the pressure release naturally.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
