Ingredients

  • 2 cups Rye flour
  • 1 cup Whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup Bread flour
  • 1 tablespoon Cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon Instant coffee
  • 2 tablespoon Molasses
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 packet Active dry yeast
  • 1.5 cups Warm water

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine rye flour, whole wheat flour, bread flour, cocoa powder, and instant coffee.
  2. 2. Add molasses, salt, and yeast to the dry ingredients.
  3. 3. Gradually add warm water and mix until a dough forms.
  4. 4. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. 5. Place the dough in a greased loaf pan, cover, and let rise for about 1 hour.
  6. 6. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. 7. Bake for 60 minutes or until the bread sounds hollow when tapped.
  8. 8. Let cool before slicing and serving.
