Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup quinoa, cooked
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, mash the black beans with a fork until mostly smooth.
  2. 2. Add the cooked quinoa, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, olive oil, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. 3. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  4. 4. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add a little oil. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and heated through.
  5. 5. Serve on buns with your favorite toppings.
