Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 400 g firm tofu drained and cubed
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds toasted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 inch ginger grated
  • 2 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, maple syrup, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger.
  2. 2. Add cubed tofu to the bowl and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. 3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. 4. Toss marinated tofu in cornstarch until evenly coated.
  5. 5. Fry tofu in the pan until golden brown and crispy on all sides, about 10-15 minutes.
  6. 6. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the tofu before serving.
