Instructions
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add onion and bell pepper, sauté until soft.
Add garlic, cook for another minute.
Stir in lentils, tomato sauce, tomato paste, soy sauce, maple syrup, chili powder, and smoked paprika.
Simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Season with salt and pepper.
Serve on hamburger buns.
