  • 1 lb beef chuck roast
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 sandwich rolls
  • Optional: pickles, mustard, or other toppings

Instructions 

  1. Place beef chuck roast in the slow cooker.
  2. Add vegetable broth, onion, garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
  4. Shred the beef with two forks.
  5. Serve on sandwich rolls with optional toppings.
