Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion and cook until soft.
  3. Stir in minced garlic, cumin, and paprika.
  4. Add rice and cook, stirring constantly, until lightly toasted.
  5. Pour in vegetable broth and tomato sauce, stir well.
  6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover.
  7. Simmer for 20 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
