Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butternut squash, cooked and mashed
  • 1 cup Cashews, soaked
  • 2 cups Pasta Use your favorite type
  • 1 cup Vegetable broth
  • ¼ cup Nutritional yeast
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a blender, combine the cooked squash, soaked cashews, vegetable broth, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, garlic powder, and onion powder. Blend until smooth.
  3. 3. Pour the sauce into a saucepan and heat over medium heat until warm. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. 4. Mix the cooked pasta with the sauce. Serve immediately.
