Main Ingredients
- 12 large mushrooms stems removed and chopped
- 1 cup breadcrumbs preferably whole wheat
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 pinch salt to taste
- 1 pinch black pepper to taste
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped mushroom stems, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, olive oil, nutritional yeast, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper.
Stuff each mushroom cap with the mixture and place them on a baking sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender and the stuffing is golden brown.
Serve warm and enjoy!
