Ingredients 

Tart Shell Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup coconut oil, solid
  • 3 tablespoons cold water

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. 3. Add the solid coconut oil and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. 4. Gradually add the cold water, one tablespoon at a time, until the dough comes together.
  5. 5. Press the dough into a tart pan, making sure to cover the bottom and sides evenly.
  6. 6. Bake for 20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  7. 7. Let it cool before filling.
