Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup vegan butter, cold and cubed
  • ¾ cup non-dairy milk
  • 2 tablespoon maple syrup

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in the vegan butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Add non-dairy milk and maple syrup, stir until just combined.
  5. Turn dough onto a floured surface, knead gently.
  6. Roll out dough to ½ inch thickness, cut into biscuits.
  7. Place biscuits on a baking sheet, bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
