Ingredients

  • 1 block tempeh
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions 

  1. Slice the tempeh into thin strips.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, liquid smoke, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  3. Marinate the tempeh strips in the mixture for at least 10 minutes.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  5. Cook the tempeh strips for about 3-4 minutes on each side until crispy.
