Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Vegan butter
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Dark chocolate chips Vegan
  • ½ cup Chopped nuts Optional

Instructions 

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the vegan butter over medium heat.
  3. Add brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir constantly until the mixture reaches 300°F (150°C) on a candy thermometer.
  4. Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly.
  5. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot toffee. Let them sit for a minute to melt, then spread the chocolate evenly over the toffee.
  6. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top if using. Let the toffee cool completely, then break into pieces.
