Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 6 cups Tomatoes chopped
  • 2 cups Vegetable broth
  • 1 cup Fresh basil leaves chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes and vegetable broth. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and blend until smooth.
  7. Stir in chopped basil leaves. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
