  • 4 slices bread
  • 1 cup vegan cheese
  • 0.5 cup vegan beer or non-alcoholic beer
  • 1 tablespoon vegan butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. Toast the bread slices.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the vegan butter over medium heat.
  3. Stir in the flour to make a roux.
  4. Gradually add the beer, stirring constantly.
  5. Add the vegan cheese and mustard, stirring until melted and smooth.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Pour the cheese mixture over the toasted bread slices.
  8. Grill until bubbly and golden.
