Ingredients

  • 4 cups Apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup Bread crumbs
  • ½ cup Brown sugar
  • ½ cup Vegan butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the apples, lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In another bowl, mix the bread crumbs, brown sugar, and melted vegan butter.
  4. Layer half of the apple mixture in a baking dish. Top with half of the bread crumb mixture. Repeat the layers.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes or until the apples are tender and the top is golden brown.
