Ingredients 

Dumplings

  • 2 Apples peeled and cored
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup Coconut oil solid
  • ¼ cup Cold water
  • ½ cup Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1 cup Apple cider

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and solid coconut oil until crumbly. Add cold water and mix until dough forms.
  3. Roll out the dough and cut into squares large enough to wrap around each apple.
  4. Place each peeled and cored apple in the center of a dough square. Fill the core with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  5. Wrap the dough around each apple and place in a baking dish.
  6. Pour apple cider over the dumplings.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
