Main Ingredients
- 1 can black beans drained and rinsed
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup onion finely chopped
- ¼ cup bell pepper finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil for cooking
Mash the black beans in a bowl until mostly smooth.
Add breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, garlic, cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Form the mixture into 4 patties.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
