Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 block Extra firm tofu pressed and drained
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Unsweetened plant-based milk
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the pressed tofu into ½-inch thick slices.
  3. In one bowl, mix the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. In another bowl, pour the plant-based milk.
  5. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
  6. Dip each tofu slice into the flour mixture, then the milk, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  7. Place the breaded tofu slices on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
