Vegan Cashew Crema Recipe
A creamy, vegan alternative to traditional crema, made with cashews.

Main Ingredients
- 1 cup raw cashews soaked in water for at least 4 hours or overnight
- 0.5 cup water
- 2 tablespoons lime juice freshly squeezed
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 0.5 teaspoon salt or to taste
- 1 clove garlic optional
Drain and rinse the soaked cashews.
In a blender, combine the cashews, water, lime juice, apple cider vinegar, salt, and garlic (if using).
Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Use immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
