Main Ingredients
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking soda
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Vegan butter, softened
- ¾ cup Brown sugar
- ¾ cup Granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- ¼ cup Unsweetened applesauce
- 2 cups Vegan chocolate chips
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, beat the vegan butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy. Add the vanilla extract and applesauce, and mix well.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the vegan chocolate chips.
Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
