Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon Ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground cloves
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.75 cup Brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup Vegan butter softened
  • 0.25 cup Molasses
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoon Non-dairy milk

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat together the brown sugar and vegan butter until creamy. Add the molasses, vanilla extract, and non-dairy milk, and mix until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thickness. Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until the edges are lightly browned. Let cool on a wire rack.
