Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 small Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoon All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Dried rosemary
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  5. Slowly whisk in vegetable broth until smooth.
  6. Add thyme and rosemary, and bring to a simmer.
  7. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
