Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 8 oz Elbow macaroni uncooked
  • 1 cup Raw cashews soaked in hot water for 15 minutes
  • 1 cup Nutritional yeast
  • 1 cup Unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Turmeric for color
  • ¼ teaspoon Paprika

Instructions 

  1. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a blender, combine soaked cashews, nutritional yeast, almond milk, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, turmeric, and paprika. Blend until smooth.
  3. Transfer the sauce to a saucepan and cook over medium heat until thickened, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Mix the cooked macaroni with the sauce. Serve warm.
