Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 cup Chopped mushrooms Any variety
  • 1 small Onion Finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 2 tablespoon All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme Dried
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped mushrooms and onion. Sauté until soft, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Stir in the flour and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  5. Gradually whisk in the vegetable broth, soy sauce, and thyme.
  6. Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened, about 10 minutes.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
