Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw cashews soaked in water for 2 hours
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 bag tortilla chips

Instructions 

  1. 1. Drain and rinse the soaked cashews.
  2. 2. In a blender, combine cashews, water, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and salt. Blend until smooth.
  3. 3. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
  4. 4. Remove from heat and stir in the salsa.
  5. 5. Serve the queso over tortilla chips.
