Ingredients

  • 2 cups Vital wheat gluten
  • 1 cup Vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Dried rosemary

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the vital wheat gluten, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, dried thyme, and dried rosemary.
  3. In another bowl, mix the vegetable broth and soy sauce.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  5. Knead the dough for a few minutes until it becomes elastic.
  6. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 60 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  8. Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.
