Vegan Salisbury Steak
A delicious vegan take on the classic Salisbury steak, made with plant-based ingredients.

Steak Mixture
- 1 cup Lentils, cooked
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 cup Mushrooms, finely chopped
- 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoon Soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, vegan
- 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
Gravy
- 2 cups Vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoon Flour
- 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, vegan
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
In a mixing bowl, combine lentils, breadcrumbs, mushrooms, onion, garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, and black pepper. Mix well.
Form the mixture into patties.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, until browned.
In the same skillet, add vegetable broth, flour, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir until thickened to make the gravy.
Serve the patties with the gravy poured over them.
