Main Ingredients
- 2 blocks firm tofu pressed and sliced into fillets
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoon water
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Brush the tofu fillets with this mixture.
3. Place the tofu fillets on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
4. In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, maple syrup, and balsamic vinegar. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
5. Stir in the cornstarch mixture and cook until the glaze thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
6. Remove the tofu from the oven and brush with the balsamic glaze. Serve immediately.
