  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. Combine coconut milk and maple syrup in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low.
  3. Simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally, until mixture thickens.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Let cool before using or storing.
