Ingredients 

Filling

  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger, minced
  • 1 cup Potatoes, boiled and diced
  • 1 cup Peas, boiled
  • 1 tablespoon Curry Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds

Dough

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 4 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 0.5 cup Water as needed

Instructions 

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  2. Add onions, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add potatoes, peas, curry powder, salt, and garam masala. Cook for 5 minutes. Set aside to cool.
  4. In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and oil. Add water gradually to form a dough. Knead until smooth.
  5. Divide dough into small balls. Roll each ball into a thin circle. Cut in half.
  6. Form a cone with each half. Fill with vegetable mixture. Seal edges with water.
  7. Heat oil in a frying pan. Fry samosas until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
